Hitchin Saturday drawing club for adults and young artists (11 to 99 year old)

We welcome all backgrounds and abilities. Whether you’re just starting out, returning to art after a long break, or already have some experience with technique, we’re here to help you develop your skills and grow as an artist.
It is open to people with a passion for art and design and wanting to extend their understanding and experience of drawing.

Would you like to dedicate one afternoon a week to just drawing?
Are you seeking some “me time” and a space where you can focus on developing your drawing skills, and exploring your inner artist?

Drawing at home on your own is great, but it often comes with a few challenges. You might find yourself easily distracted by a text notification, spending more time organising your pencils than actually using them, or hesitating to make that first mark. Perhaps you’ve started sketching only to feel discouraged because it doesn’t turn out the way you envisioned, leaving you unsure of what to do next.
We want these Saturday afternoons to be a safe and welcoming space where you can develop your own artistic practice and disconnect from the world and fully immerse yourself in the joy of drawing.
